Someone is very good at trimming - a hedge to be proud of indeed! I laughed at @ladymagpie 's comment! I can just imagine it! That turkey will probably take 5 hours to cook?
@maggiemae Well the last turkey I cooked was a nightmare If you remember & I spilt the fat over my new boots. This must be easier as its half the size! Harry cut the hedge!
@newbank Ha ha we don't like bread sauce! In fact to be honest I don't think I have ever had it.....not something my mum used to make! We tend to do what our mothers did so shall blame her....sorry mum!
@happypat i have a feeling we discussed this last year! I do as my mum did and gran did....over cook and have the best christmas meal on boxing day....bubble abd squeak!!
What a lovely coppery glow ! --and so neat and tidy , I agree with Newbank Lass @newbank , nothing like your own home made bread sauce with the turkey , in fact it is all the sauces I love , not only do I have bread sauce (breadcrumbs already prepared and in the freezer !) but also home made Cranberry and orange sauce and home made apple sauce ! ha ha !! a very saucy meal !!
