We have been to see the film Ab Fab this afternoon so my obligitary walk over the road to the promenade at Clevelys.
The tide was in & the sea surprisingly rough.
The film was fun with lots of so called celebraties having cameo parts, some we recognised most we didn't but all good light fun. The film seemed to be rather stilted in parts, I wouldn't say it was a film to must see!
Three good things:
1. Two good tennis matches to watch although I will miss half of both of them as we are out tonight too.
2. Plans for two train trips, one to Glasgow & then another to perhaps Leeds.
3. A chat to a brother.
I immediately recognised this as one of yours , when I saw those queer angled street lights !! --I commented on them the last time you had your egg sandwiches on the back seats of the cinema !! Enjoy your evening out !
Like Beryl I just knew this was yours! But we have come a long way together on here 😀
I was wondering if that would be a good movie to see though I didn't see the series on TV apart from occasional snippets. We'll see!
@sarah19 well I wouldn't recommend it that much Sallie, it was a bit of fun but that's all! I never watched the series either although I knew who the main characters were, Joanna Lumley is excellent!
A very futuristic looking shelter. You would probably need to take a cushion with you though, must be pretty chilly on the rear end.
Not so sure I would fancy the Ab Fab movie. I never watched the series. David used to watch it though.
Lovely to see the sunshine on the futuristic concrete. My life is fitted round Wimbledon at the moment but I still keep missing matches because I have to go out! i shall miss it next week.
