So cold today in the slight wind.
The hens were feeling the nip in the air & didn't like their hair being ruffled!
An unfortunate night with badly behaved B&Bers last night!
The first time in over 23 years I have had someone come in drunk.
We were woken up at 12.30am by a lot of giggling & noise. One lady had apparently been carried out of the pub on her chair, the idea of the bar staff I was told. The friends & husband were half carrying her up the stairs, two either side & three at the back shoving her upstairs.
I opened our bedroom door, glowered at them & told them to make less noise!
I could hear the husband moving about all night back wards & forwards taking her to the bathroom.
No breakfast for her but he was ok & had cereal & toast.
The age of this miscreant 75!!! You would have thought they would have learnt by now!
Quite funny now I look back seeing these old people behaving like that!!
Banned!
Three good things:
1. Rubber gloves although everything was alright when I went upstairs!
2. A new rule, no one nighters on a Saturday night unless I know them! This will cut out all weddings & parties hopefully!
3. The rest of my lovely, lovely B&B guests over the years.
Oh dear poor you.. you would think by that she she would of Learnt to pace herself.. and poor chook loojs like she was kept awake all night as well.. 🤢
Even the hens are ruffled by the antics of the sodden70's last night ! Said it all on fb Pat !! Keep smiling and be determined that there will be NO next time !!
Maybe the hens had no sleep last night too! I feel a bit like the back hen at times! It is your house and they had no respect - deserves no breakfast and no more staying there!
Thank you all, I have rather milked this but it was so unusual for me to have people like this but I bet the poor Blackpool landladies have this problem all the time! Ha ha!
Thanks for all your kind words & sympathy!!
