Lovely winter beech hedge contrasts beautiful with the woven fence & Horse Chestnut tree at my daughters house today.
We popped round to pick up Christmas presents for Lesley to take back with her to NZ tomorrow.
Three good things:
1. Lunch out again today with family.
2. TOTI buns filled specially for me this afternoon at the Cartford Inn. I forgot they were closed but fantastic service specially for us!
3. The One Show charity bike challenge passed along the A6 at Bilsborrow today.
@countrylassie Taste Of The Inn Choux bun filled with soft vanilla custard & drizzled with toffee icing & almonds. The restaurant critic in the Guardian this week gave them almost desert of the year title!
@beryl I was just getting back in the car Beryl but nipped out again, thought this made a nice photo. Been busy all night with friends of Lesley round for drinks to say goodbye, no commenting again!
