Harry's man den!
Work on the vintage tractor today. There was a leak in the engine, new radiator & all oils changed.
This tractor mows our field in the summer so it does work. A very enjoyable day for the two,of them, lots of chat!
The photo could have been clearer but I had to be very quick before they turned their backs!
Three good things:
1. Cathy & Garth safely taken to Manchester Airport this morning.
2. Finn has picked the full name for his kitten....are you ready for this is....Thunderstorm Lightening Bolt Cutie Pie Knowles! Storm for short!!
3. Young minds!
@happypat a lovely image of the men in the den. Such a well kept tractor! I love the kittenโs name - reminds me of when the kids named their calf club calves. We had Gumgoot, Letterbox,Onion-Fluffy-Bum, Milo ...to name a few. Just realised that over the years we had 31 calves and one goat that went to School calf club!
Men at work , or men enjoying themselves ?. Nice to see men having an enjoyable time while tinkering with their hobby and having a good old chat .And what a ship-shape man's den ! Ooh Pat -- thank God the cat will be known by his shortened name -hee hee !! - bless Finn ! will he remember the full name in a week's time !!
@beryl I had to write that name down when they told me last night! A bit like pedigree dogs at Crufts with their fancy names! How is Alfie by the way, we haven't heard much about the lad lately? Harry has a place for everything!
@happypat - "A place for everything and everything in its place " One of the rules I had my pupils write in their exercise/ recipe book when they joined my Home Economics classes !! ( or food technology as they call it these days) !!
That's a very fine shed! So high and wide! Everything old seems to leak - John's motorbike, me, him. Did you know King Edward Vlll's name? ....Edward Albert Christian George Andrew Patrick David!
@maggiemae Ha ha you are a little devil! Yes such ridiculous long names, I didn't know them all but not surprised they are so long....bit like me really!
@phil_howcroft Ha ha Phil, I think I come a close second to the tractor Phil! That tractor is an essential component in our future place to live if we ever move! Has to be room for the tractor!
Glad the cats name is Storm for short, it would be quite a mouthful rattling off all his names.
