A bad start as I had a puncture as I set off, had to do a quick dash to the tyre place for a new tyre. I was lucky as they were able to repair it for £21 so I got off lightly!
Got to the airport in time for a coffee & a lovely chat to the young man next to me who was a charity worker for a Liverpool homeless society who was meeting a co worker coming in from Vienna.
I nearly missed Will & Erin walking past too. Half the photo in focus & half blurred, I have no idea what to make of that but it's a diary shot!
Three good things:
1. Family visiting!
2. A quiet motorway.
3. Welcoming sun!
Enjoy ! You so busy Pat..always something happening or going on..I'm in a little still time at the moment ,just going with the flow, feeling very our of kilter with life..but thats how it is xxx.great to see you last weekend.did me good
@brennieb Wasn't it a great weekend...me & Bernie had a day with him on the Monday too, it was so relaxed, who would have thought? Going to Blackpool on Wednesday. Hope life goes smoothly by in the next few weeks, will be a renewing time for you & John then perhaps a trip over to see family in USA as a reward to you both! X
@quietpurplehaze Well Hazel I did try & keep calm but I know how much nicer it is to have someone meet you when you land. Worse part was the picking up of hire car in Blackpool. You can imagine the traffic going into Blackpool on the first hot weekend of the year! We queued & queeued & they had closed by the time we got there, back on Monday!
Glad it worked out with theatre. You must have been worried. Blackpool on the first hot weekend. Rather you than me. Hope you have a great time with your visitors. It is wonderful for them to have such a welcoming base while they are here.
I must admit I was in a bit of a sweat when I saw the warning light on my dashboard, luckily it was at Saturday so tyre place was open!
