Here are our two visitors, our grandson William who lives in NZ & his American girlfriend.
They have visited the USA, San Francisco & Chicago & then Erin's home town of Menomonie.
They are here for three weeks so have lots of plans to see lots of the UK. Erin's first visit so I hope the weather does us justice!
Three good things:
1. Hearing all about the trip to America.
2. Proper Sunday lunch with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding etc, something Harry & I don't bother with as much these days!
3. Watching the London Marathon....London looking brilliant in the Spring sunshine.
how nice to have visitors in the house so you can have a Sunday lunch! Lovely to make food for others, so boring for one or two...hahaha
I read the news on the BBC and they said it was a VERY hot marathon. One person dies and several others had to go to hospital, all because of the heat.
Fab portrait. I hope they have a fantastic time! I must check out the marathon news. My cousin was running and he's usually up there with a pretty good time.
Fantastic that William and Erin are now with you .. you will have alot of fun catching up .. Wow that sounds a bit of a rough Marathon .. visions of the poor guy that collapsed at the Com Games during the Marathon last week.. you would think common sense would just make them stop ..
@julzmaioro They interviewed that guy who kept collapsing during the marathon this morning, reckons it will take him quite a while to recover! It showed clips, no one could help him or he would be disqualified!
Nice of them not to mind having their photo displayed to others! One has to ask nowadays! I wish I'd known about the marathon - like to watch that. William must have loved that delicious Yorkshire Pudding!
@maggiemae I did ask but had to grab this photo quickly while William was caught on the hop! Yes he ate lots! First proper meal since they arrived, always give family bits & bobs when they get off the plane as I never know whether they are hungry, too tired or both!
Sounds like William and Erin are having a great trip. I'm sure you'll spoil them rotten while they're with you. And you can't beat a good old Sunday roast, especially if someone else does the washing up!

I haven't had a Sunday roast for years.
