Milking time by happypat

Milking time

I was just wondering what photo to use today for 365 as I haven't even thought of a photo today & up pops this one from Brian in NZ.

Hot off the press & taken ten minutes ago 6am NZ time.
The cows are just walking along the milking shed each one slotting into a milking position.

I was just texting him about something else & he was just starting milking.

Cheating I know but on year eight I think I'm allowed!

Three good things:
1. Good to have instant chat 12,000 miles away.
2. Nice hire car picked up for our visitors. Was interesting comparing prices when booked from over seas compared with here in the UK.
3. A new prince is born.
Nice when the right thing comes along at the right time! Little prince included 😊

I think it’s wonderful that your son thinks of you and your love of photography, and just sends you a photo, quick as a wink!

@louannwarren We were just chatting about something else as he waited fit the cows to come in for morning milking Lou Ann, he follows my photos on 365 in fact all of the family do, it's a great way for them to keep up with our daily news! I can never give up! ☹️

It was very exciting about the new prince..I do love royals...lol Oooh milking time. When I worked in the police I had a coffee stop which was actually a farm. They never had milk in the fridge and whenever I arrived they let me collect my milk straight from the cow...surreal but I really appreciated that coffee.

Very clean milking parlour.

Those cows are always so obedient - or just plain dumb - follow the leader into the shed etc. One way to lose weight, I suppose!

@maggiemae They actually like being milked Maggie, quite content & they all know their job. Cows are very intelligent animals.

A lovely shot and I’ve never seen a rule that says every picture we post has to be taken by ourself.
