I don't know about you but I love to be walking down a street & suddenly look to my right or left & see a narrow passage or weind as we in our part of the world would call it.
Here is one such one in the middle of Dublin City.
Love the way the eye is drawn down right to the end & even better when there are actual live people down there too.
Lights glowing a bit, a waiter, barrels of beer & a sort of private place among a city of thousands!
Would you dare walk down that weind & join in?
Three good things:
1. I have just finished a rather marvellous book by the Amaerican novelist Anita Diamant called The Boston Girl. I will move onto her next one now called The Red Door.
2. Booked tickets with my neighbour to see Joanna Lumley at the Grand in Blackpool in October....I think it should be a fun night!
3. I washed the inside windows in the house!
Wonderful lights along the alleyway making it most inviting , and a lovely scene at the end of the passage - yes I would willingly go down this alleyway ! - so clean and well kept !
So much more interesting than long modern streets!!!
We don't really have neat little alleyways like this. Its nice that they are public. I've now got record of that author!
