The farmer who bought our old fields last year are busy mowing & collecting grass for silage.
They are taking an early crop & immediately afterwards going to plough & snow maize.
They have bought a new Klaus Precision 860 chopper, the weather is good & it’s all going very smoothly.
The fields look very neat, almost like lawns!
Our next door neighbour Craig is mowing his new lawn too!
Harry was actually mowing our grass as well, I should have tried to get him in the picture too!
The covered up bit at the front is where Harrys potatoes are, protecting in case of frost!
Three good things:
1. Continuing getting the house ready for photos. The b&b’s left this morning until Tuesday evening so I was able to get beds changed, put away all clutter & was round sprucing up with the paint brush.
2. I can have a lie in tomorrow, I have been getting up at 6.45am for what seems like ages!
3. It’s going to be a wonderful weekend weather wise, very unusual for Easter!
Warning keep off the roads!
Lovely view across all the green fields. Glad the fields are going to continue to be worked. When a field is sold here you may be sure, it is for building and most of us are fed up to the nose with that.
