Litter louts! by happypat

Litter louts!

This was the sight I came across recently on my walk.
Illegal dumping of litter has become a big problem on all the quiet out of sight lanes.
All the official waste disposal sites have been closed so the unscrupulous minority ruin the countryside but dumping their rubbish on us in the middle of the night.
It makes us furious!

Three good things:
1. One of the litter piles had paperwork with personal details on. When traced he had hired someone out of the paper saying for a sum he would dispose of rubbish. This guy was shamed & named!
2. We have three viewers over next two days! Two retuning but one I know hasn’t sold yet.
3. All plastering finished & bookcase shoved back just in the nick of time!
What a beautfiul scene Pat, spoiled only by the rubbish. Good luck with your viewers. It must be tiring keeping everywhere spic and span.

Good on you for finding out who had disposed of the rubbish!

A blot on the landscape! Ooh! doesn't it make you mad! You have to be so careful these days when hiring an unknown to do a job for you!
Glad you managed to do your patching-up before the next spate of viewers!-Good luck once again -

It's shocking! I wonder if it isn't better for the tips to take this rubbish rather than have to pay to clean up the lanes after these unscrupulous people have dumped their rubbish!

What a mess! I wonder what their parents would say? And what kind of mess in the rest of their lives?
We passed a bed dumped by the roadside on Saturday!! Happening up here too.

It happens all over the country. A real shame

This makes me so mad! We are getting the same here and the tips are open- no excuse!

I'm glad he was named and shamed but he should be made to tidy this up! Well done with the plastering - glad you didn't get plastered!

We have had problems in the past with people dumping in the woods. But dumpsites have been considered essential workers for us.

Nice

Yikes! This is terrible. Such a pretty countryside to have garbage dumped!
Glad your plastering is finished!

We have a lot of illegal dumping in the woods in the south; drugs related chemical waste ; horrible but this is bad too 😞 glad you could trace the culprit and thumbs up for the viewings 👍

That is just appalling! Where we live we used to be able to bring stuff like that down to a lorry on a Saturday morning as the closest recycling area is a 40 minute drive for us. However, the council have decided not to do this any more. It will result in more fly tipping, I fear. Some people just don't care ... I cannot imagine what type of person would do this ... but clearly they're out there somewhere! It's plain shocking.

That's the classic way to catch someone, well done. We just waited with stuff we were clearing until the Tip was open again. Queued for 1.5 hours to get in there, but did the job. Fly tipping is disgraceful and an utter blot on the landscape. There are unfortunately many people in the Yellow Pages who offer to remove rubbish for a fee but simply do this with it.

I suppose you see this everywhere. We have a free bulky refuse service which is very efficient but some idiots still dump their unwanted items wherever they find possible.
July 16th, 2020
How terrible. I’m glad he was named. Hope your showings go well!
July 16th, 2020
YUCK!
July 17th, 2020
The same here. Glad you caught him.

What a shame. There are some disgusting people in this world.
