We had a wander round & stopped for a coffee at The Fish Shack.
The self catering house is plain on the outside but like a luxury tardis on the inside!
Its lovely to meet up with Cathy, Garth, Lydia & Connie.

Ooh just along from Warkworth where we’ve stayed with Monty on a few occasions. The Fish Shack is v nice and I believe featured in 365 one time. Ah Connie will have a lovely holiday- Monty so loved his Northumberland trips. Is it a Coquet Cottages house - they are lovely? There’s a lovely river walk at Warkworth as well as the castle and another amazing beach.
I love it around there - we are heading to Northumberland in September- twice. One with the caravan and another break in a static with the brother in law and his wife - can't wait!
@judithg we are going to explore Warkworth today Judith. This bit of the Northumberland coast is new to me. We used to come to Newbiggin by the sea every year when very young then higher up but not this bit. We are staying at Silversands Cottage. It’s massive inside!
Strangely the photos look different from what you see inside. It looks much more open than that...I think it’s had a make over while closed!! Knocked a wall out perhaps! The kitchen looks new & has made me think I want shelves instead of cupboards! 🤣🤣🤣
