Harry has just come in for a paracetamol as he’s been chopping kindling this afternoon…his back is aching from bending down.
Three good things:
1. I walked to the village to buy some stamps & post two cards. Met a friend who is moving back to Great Eccleston, she showed me round her house then we went for lunch at the cafe….a nice unexpected morning!
2. A very chilly wind outside but we are warm even with no heating on. Good insulation & some sunshine works wonders until we put the fire on.
3. A vase full of daffodils on the kitchen table. Reminding us of Spring around the corner.
Well done Harry -- good to keep busy , but not overdo things !! to look after that back !!Sounds as if you had a wonderful morning - so good to have these unexpected meetings !
Hopefully you have a stock for a few days so Harry doesn't have to worry again.. Fire lighters are good to use with the kindling then you don't have to use so much..
