On my walk today my feet took me into the local churchyard.
It was awash with tiny daffodils, snowdrops & crocuses.
This old grave took my eye…the very old moss covered crucifix looks rather beautiful.
Three good things:
1. The first daises on the lawn.
2. I bought a couple of solar lights for the garden yesterday….hoping they will have stored enough power in todays sunshine to light up tonight.
3. I washed the bifold doors as the recent storms had made a real mess of them….sunlight shining through dirty glass doors is not a good look.
This is beautiful.. though I would like to see the daffodils and snowshoes as well.
Solar light are great now.. Got a few of spot light ones the light up some special spots..
Beautiful, yet somewhat sad where nature in the form of moss has taken over .ALovely time to wander when all the naturalised Spring flowers are in bloom .
I love solar lights in the garden . Some of mine have deteriorated over the winter moths ,but the ones I have up oh the fence posts of the garden fence are shining brightly this last week or so .
Love the moss, it kind of goes with the age of the cross. Things will only be tended for so long. There maybe no one left now to tend it. Like your title too, adding a note of Easter too.
@beryl@countrylassie@julzmaioro No light tonight ….must not have got it right….I think you have to do something more than stick them in the ground….can’t see a switch anywhere! Shall have to check tomorrow!
Funny ... I was in a cemetery on Saturday too ... unusually! I was looking at crosses thick in bright green moss too. This capture is beautiful and your title is perfect.
