Struggling for photos just now, it’s not really weather to go out taking photos in mid November!
I thought I might show you a few of our local shops in the village.
First is the butchers shop which I do try to support as much as possible!
Three good things:
1. The chimney man has been to check our wood burner chimney! Good advice but a couple of choices….we will have to have a good think about the next step!
2. Our lovely North West Tonight weather man Owain Wyn Evans is moving on & leaving us! He has been so great this last three years but going to Radio Two…big promotion!
3. Cinema seats booked!
It finally brightened up here around 2pm. I agree, keeping local businesses alive is vital. Our local butcher is called Pat’s Butcher - of course we always call it Pat Butchers. 😊
I love guessing who's photo is on my feed, before scrolling down to check. I got both you and Sarah B right this morning! Lovely capture of your local butchers. Nice idea to show us some of your local shops - especially the ones you frequent. :-)
@maggiemae Well we find it better to book as there are three cinema rooms all quite small & luxurious plus it’s not in a town but at our local garden centre. They built an entertainment centre called The Flower Bowl with all sorts of things like crazy golf, curling, etc etc. we used to go to the big Vue cinema in Clevelys but it’s quite a way away so the cheaper seats there are taken up with fuel money plus lots of road works fir new bypass.
The hanging baskets are on every lamp post, they seem to have lasted a long time this year. The Christmas trees will e going up soon so might look a bit odd, summer flowers & Christmas!!
It’s vital to support local shops, I’m walking in today to get a few provisions!
Thank you all.
