I don’t like writing them!!
Never mind I got the job done this afternoon.
I didn’t send very many at all last year but I have managed to whittle them down to only needing 25 stamps.
I plan to deliver as many as I can this week as I’m up where we used to live on Thursday for a funeral.
Sewing Bee on tonight……I love that programme but hate seeing!
NB @floralchick. The air fryer you gave us in its place. Nice & neat there. 😍 xx
Well done , I finished off writing mine this afternoon ( everything on the go-slow with this Polymyalgia - !! but must not complain!) I always hate the starting off but quite enjoy the journey as I go through my list with a little snippet written in some of the cards! Thanks for reminding me - I love watching Sewing Bee!
@susiemc@beryl Yes actually you are right Beryl I get into it & don’t mind in the end! I like it better now we send fewer…,. Only three b&bers this time! I was more organised too this year!
Still not a favourite job though!
I decided to donate to Children in Need this year rather than pay postage for 50 cards. Just not feeling Christmassy while recovering from my knee replacement. Have been feeling rough with after effects of anaesthetic and the strong meds!
That looks very organised Pat. I too love getting cards, especially from abroad. I think I sent about 50 this year, which is about half of what I used to send. I think people, generally, are reducing and donating to charity instead. I do a bit of both as I think we need to keep some traditions, even though it is, effectively, money down the drain. Everything in moderation is my mantra - boring though that may sound!
I used to be tone in the family to fill in Christmas cards and I really hated doing that. Now we send greeting through the Internet though it is not the same like sending personalised cards.
Still not a favourite job though!
Kitchen looking as nest as a pin.
