With so many banks closing we rely so much on shops like this.
Handy little drop and open long hours.. We have had two banks clise in recent months.. and cheques disappeared long ago.. moving towards a cashless society.. grrr
A very long day for the sales persons. But it's great to have it close to home and with a varied selection of anything you need at home. We do not have the problem of having to drive long distances to go buy something because the size of Malta is very limited and every town or village is not far. Our only problem is parking except for the big retail outlets that have their own parking areas.
@sangwann There are a few of them Dione. Andrew who owns it is on from Six then various ladies take over. They have the post office work to learn too so not easy.
