Chestnuts roasting...........and all that!

Not as clear as I would like but I was embarrassed, it was very busy & the assistant in the background thought I was a spy I think!!

Posting early today as visitors due soon.
All you do is tell them you are doing a photo shoot for the holidays and perhaps he will be lucky and win LOL

Your dof is great, and thiose chestnuts really pop out at me on my screen. In my limited experience, if you ask if you can take some pics and explain why, they will more often that not say go ahead but don't get in the way. Especially if you are known as a customer. Have a lovely time with your visitors.

BTW, if you get a second to pop back to the pic of Ben and hit the fave button a bit harder, we would both be appreciate it :)) Thanks Pat. he was thrilled, in a teenage boy laid back way to be on the PP this morning.

A great shot. It reminds me so much of Christmas Eve when mum 'roasted chestnuts on an open fire'. Happy days.

Ooo I love the smell of roasting chestnuts...my mom tried to do that in our oven one year but didnt know to knick the nut, so when she took them out they all exploded...all over the kitchen. What a mess. Years later we were still finding bits behind the refrigerator.
