The open-air museum in Sierpc is a linear village consisting of ten homesteads, two manors, a church, an inn, a smithy, an oil mill and a windmill. "Linear village" means that the cottages with farm buildings are located on one side of the road, and on the other there are arable fields. This arrangement of villages was common in Mazovia after the enfranchisement of peasants in 1864.

A nice shot of this cottage. I looked this museum up on Google. Some very interesting buildings and farm areas. A museum that my husband and I would have enjoyed had we ever visited Poland.
