The river

I'm coming back home. Photo from yesterday's walk along the coast. It is just before the mouth of the river flows into the sea. Beeches used to grow here, but every storm destroys the ground and topples trees.

Shame about the beeches. We mostly have willows alongside rivers and their roots cause flooding so they are mostly being poisoned!
