Kelly's Cats - Union Bridge, Aberdeen

Leopard Statues, known as Kelly's Cats, have adorned the northern balustrade of Union Bridge in Aberdeen since 1908. These were designed by William Kelly. With the upgrading of Union Terrace gardens, these cats have been hidden from view for a long time. However, the bridge has been brought back to life now and the cats are standing proud as ever. We are still waiting for the gardens to reopen, but they say patience is a virtue ...

Lovely symmetry in the foreground, that is enhanced by the soft chaos in the backdrop.
