I'm tempted to say a hibiscus but I think it's too early and I'm just not sure.

Nope, just found it ... it's a Hong Kong Orchid Tree! Love finding out names of these plants!

@dgrynn I've been trying to track down this plant ... I like to know what things are called! Eventually found it. It does have an orchid-like flower, right enough. I love the exotic name of Hong Kong Orchid Tree!
