With today somewhat warmer and more dry, birds began chattering early; and I welcomed the cheerful sounds. While Gracie and I lingered on the deck, I caught sight of a spot of green in the kitchen garden. I leaned in for a closer look and found this sweet little clump — no taller than an inch! If fairies inhabited the garden, surely they'd rest on the soft, fuzzy carpet beneath these delicate sprouts. I leaned in closer but didn't see any. I plan to check again tomorrow. ;)
I praise you, Lord, for the soft, new, enchanting little world that's popped up in the kitchen garden.
Oh yes, a great place for fairies. Hope you meet one tomorrow! I too noticed the birds chattering early this morning. They seem to be enjoying the peace and quiet resultant from our enforced clamp down on movement. Lovely to hear. And the tall sprouts with their drooping heads look great here with the hint of the soft bed beneath them.
