SOOC challenge: Paperbark

I had a change of nifty-fiftys today and took my Canon 5D and the 50mm 1.2 lens down to the Kathleen McArthur reserve at Currimundi. I was hoping for a lot of wild flower photographs but I was either too early or too late! There were plenty of other things to photograph including this circle of paperbark.
