The Mardi Gras for decades has been led by “Dykes on Bikes”!!
They’re not going the wrong way. They go West to East where they meet up with the start of the parade and then lead it down Oxford Street East to West!

Looks like everyone is having a great time… is the woman on the red Ducati taking a selfie while driving a motorcycle? Is so that is pretty extraordinary… but also a bit scary…. Maybe she is just waving to the crowd… hard to tell.

The only time they could ride a bike in Aussie without wearing a helmet! I have ridden in the States where there are some states where you don't have to wear them. Feels a bit strange though.
