PMAE No 64

Success! My Dogwood Challenge assignment - take a shot 30+sec or longer using an ND filter. My shot was 35 sec using a 10stop ND filter. This was taken on Navajo land north of Flagstaff. The wind was about 15mph but the temps were mild, about 50f ( 10c). I seem to be taking full moon shots when its is windy lately. These wooden painted statues have been seen here before but not at night.

Might be better on black, if you have the time.
VERY cool!! It makes me think I should take my ND filter to someplace in the city to get an unusual look -- great lighting for a daytime scene.

Well done.. you done a good job. It's a great shot ... but I really thought the Halloween epidemic that has raged on 365 this year had subsided! :-)

@taffy Thank you so much, technically it was 23 minutes after sunset but out in the middle of no where, it was still rather light.

@deborah63 Thank you so much, the ND filter really let me play with the DoF a lot.

@joemuli Very grateful, thank you.

@yrhenwr Thank you kindly, these "object d'art" have been in place for over 30 years with some one maintaining them. They are a mystery but a cool one. There isn't a title or identifying mark.

@lynnz So very grateful for the fav. These statues are most interesting with many tourists never noticing them. I think that they resemble Japanese anime a bit.
