For the Dogwood Challenge, week 6 "Vision: Alternative patterns of light and depth and rhythm to the photograph". A blending of two images accomplished in Photoshop with layers, faffing and the NIK collection.
Interesting image to take a side profile and make it feel rhythmical like this. Love the bokeh and the swirly whirly effect you have created in flaffing :D :D
Faffing is a respectable, honorable and pleasurable way to waste time. Those who dare to scorn such activity might benefit from an intensive introduction and/or mentoring. Certification guaranteed for those who wish to master the Art of Faffing.
Incidentally, Joy, this is a rather lovely faffed foto ;-)
@stephanies Thank you so kindly for the fav. I was trying to use my new app in my Sony A6000 but I wasn't doing something correctly so I went home and played on my own instead.
@domenicododaro You are so kind, my better half who is in this shot, thought that yup, she's gone again. Faffing is a wonderful term for this, I believe it was Clare Gadsby who introduced me to it.
@s4sayer Couldn't agree more, faffing, creative manipulation, strange edits are so needed in this crazy world. Thank you ever so kindly for the fav too.
@quietpurplehaze Nope, not a flower. Faffing is only for sale in editland.:):)
Have to buy a sat nav maybe as I have a terrible sense of direction....

A shame that what I intended as light-hearted comments have emerged as or have been construed as scorn. And I like playing as much as anyone.
@s4sayer
Ooops! Hazel my comment was tongue in cheek and was in no way intended otherwise. My apologies.
Well that's OK Margo - we were both tongue in cheek!!
@deborah63 Thank you so very much. I am learning to save some of my less than normal shots for textures to be played with later.
