All that remains of a once flourishing but harsh tourist attraction along the old Rt 66 in Northern Arizona. This once housed a variety of curios for sale and several 'wild' animals but they were kept in tiny cages. If you would like more information ( https://www.theroute-66.com/two-guns.html ).
@haskar Truly appreciate the fav, thank you! This town has a real wild past and is still in decent condition to explore.
@quietpurplehaze Thank you so much. I had to get out of town before today's snow started. I enjoyed being mostly alone there.
@jernst1779 Thank you a great deal. The light was better for the IR shots that I made but this silver efex in Photoshop came to the rescue.
@megpicatilly The stones used are mostly what has survived the harshness of the desert.
@mbrutus Thank you so much, especially for the fav. I have gathered my courage and am embracing Instagram but also trying to figure out what translates best to that platform. Thank you for mentioning about the phone. I haven't posted anything yet but 365 will always be my main digital outlet.
@jo38 Thank you so much, this old ghost town is close to home and a real cool place to explore.
@eudora Thank you a great deal. I have my camera set to B&W so I can compose as such but, shooting raw so I get the color too.
@s4sayer You are so kind, thank you. This wasn't IR but like how the FL-d filter handled the tones. I understand that this filter is really for fluorescent lights but seems to work in B&W rather nicely.
@stephanies Thank you so kindly. This is far away from town and with the fast driving conditions of today, the tourists haven't stopped there in a very long time.
@taffy Thank you goodness times have changed and protection of animals is a stronger priority.
@jclaireyp Ghost towns are a favorite for me to explore. I am glad so much of this place is still standing.
@gamelee I understand that this was a 'real' spot along the Mother Road of Rt 66 in its day. I was amazed how tiny the cages were, very cruel in my thinking.
