Note to self: make it a habit to change camera date/time settings correctly when changing time zones. I just realized that I've had AM/PM confused on my camera settings for who knows how long. And, I forgot to move it from Chicago to New York time zone. So the photo you see really was taken shortly after midnight on the 15th, just before I went to sleep. I managed to get an abstract view of the city lights by accident, because I didn't set my camera to capture the "shape" of the buildings. This was the best of the five photos taken on the 15th. (I took a terrible photo of the emergency door on the airplane very hurriedly when they turned off the lights and I knew the lights wouldn't come on again before midnight.)
Really quite impressive! I love the right corner and how it is like a canvas of realism stuck in the abstract of the left, and then the light arc pointing upward to the blue something--batman mask? Hovercraft? nightclub platform? hahaha, myriads of possibilities in my mind! And then there seems to be reflection from inside your room and without.
I hear you about the time zones! Happy travels! Oh, and just so you know, I'm on the Korean drama thing and "ship sho"--heard it several times. I must find out the meaning. I'm about to start another Kdrama soon! :)
