I hAd not been to the Ueno Zoo for decades and in fact, I don't Ike zoos in general because I am. Extraordinarily smell sensitive. But seeing the panda was fun. Long story but I was only there for a few minutes so I was glad the pandas were by the entrance. This is the male -- the female is expecting any time now so she was out of public view. I did not bring my computer on this trip -- @vankrey challenged me to learn to us iPad apps. But I dropped and smashed the entire screen of my iPad so I can't really see what I am doing amd trying to avoid glass shards while typing so this is the best I can do for now.
@vankrey and I like this photo because the panda was chomping through the leaves so quickly and discarding the stalks all over himself . . . Perhaps a bit of a sloppy eater?
