Good Morning, Chicago! (panorama context)

Thank you for your generous comments on the sunrise photo I posted earlier. This one shows the full context of the sunrise, blobby sun and all. But I do like how you can see how cold it is because of the steam rising fro the buildings, and the snow on the ground. I always love seeing the Chicago skyline when flying, and try to choose a seat based on which side the city will be on depending on destination when flying in and out of the city. I also like seeing how flying means that by the time you take 6 photos across the sky, you get 6 different altitudes that change the perspective.

Cropped version from a slightly lower altitude: http://365project.org/jyokota/365/2016-01-24
It's surreal in such a good way -- such dramatic colors and layers. And I'm always impressed with how steady and clear you are while taking from the plane.

Wonderful capture! I have booked a window seat for both my flights to and from Chicago. I hope I am lucky enough to get a great view and that I can get a shot of it!
