I only took one photo here and did not bracket. So when I went to process this image I couldn't pull out the details without washing out the background. Here's my first attempt to use Aurora HDR with only one photo. It was like magic and maybe I won't have to take so many bracketed photos in the future. Good thing I have a broken arm and focused on learning how to do processing better.
Looks like you get to be in such great places. This certainly puts each and every one of our lamp posts to shame. Lovely capture of this architectural feature.
I think you're doing extremely well to take photos at all when you're restricted to one arm. This is an impressive shot of a lovely old artefact with intricate cast-metalwork.
@helenhall -- indeed, I'm lucky to be in great places around the world. However, I know without doubt that my photography skills grow the most when I'm in familiar surroundings and I have to create an interesting image rather than merely capturing that interesting images in new locations.
@golftragic -- True confession. I'm not taking any photos with my broken arm. My camera and lenses we're left behind at the side of the accident in Italy and my friends have taken them to Korea for safe keeping. I won't be reunited with my camera until the end of May, about the time I should be out of my cast. Meanwhile, I'm practicing with voice activated software and practicing processing I've already taken as I can do that with one hand.
