Waiting for Customers

Fukuoka is known for their nighttime outdoor dining scene. These "yatai" are food stalls that are set up only for evening/night hours and operate along the river (such as in this case) or along wide sidewalks right in the city. Apparently, the concept originated nearly 200 years ago as food carts.
