Yes, you must go home now. by jyokota

Yes, you must go home now.

Said Dr. M ( @caterina 's son ) -- not the statue.

I was to keynote a conference in another week and be a guest speaker in three classes during the week. But Cornonavirus has closed down the university, I was going to stay in my prepaid flat, and just enjoy time with my friends here but the urgency of Dr. M's insistence made me decide to get an early plane ticket home. Good thing, because a few hours later, Trump shut down travel from Europe, and the flights were packed. Safely home now. My time in Poland now seems surreal, as I wandered around in the dark trying to decide what to do. I'll be posting a series of images from my nightwalk. . .
Thank goodness you got home when you did! Good call Dr. M.

Gorgeous night image.
I am so sorry you couldn't continue, so many places closing down while this rages. I am glad you made it safely home. My son is currently in a blissful bubble on an island where he is training to be a watersports instructor. Only one case there and he is out sailing every day and loving it. I am glad. Not long til his course ends but at least for now he can have fun and be untroubled by it all.

Junko, I’m so glad that you and Marco have built such a strong bond of friendship. And I’m glad you are safely home. Those night walks in Poland must have produced some beautiful photos judging from this one. I like the golden colors and the beautiful light. Fav and looking forward to the next ones. Stay at home!

Glad you are back on home territory . given the circumstances, I am sure that is best. I'm thinking this could be especially difficult for you. Sending the very best of wishes that you can stay positive and healthy and occupied.

So very glad that you made it home. These times are UN-settleing to say the least. Very much looking forward to more of your photo walk with @haskar. I would love to visit Poland but more than likely not in this life time, maybe next one.
