Moral dilemma: This was another impulsive photo taken as a couple walked past me. I like how the photo turned out, but I have no idea who these people are, and whether they'd approve of my taking their photo and certainly not at all sure whether it's ethical to post photos on a public site without permission. All other photos I've posted that have people in them are small images, so I didn't fret about the ethics of posting their photos without permission. But somehow, this one seems to be so personal, yet not "mine." What's the "code of ethics" in a situation like this? I'm putting it in my "Challenges and Extras" album for now but intend to delete it soon. Just would like to hear some thoughts from others . . .
Why don't you start a discussion thread so that you can get more input? I'd be interested in what others think -- and I do like this shot a lot. Their forward movement is captured so well against the sea, going into the wind. Beautiful.
That is nice and I'm glad that you posted it. They seem to be totally lost in what they are talking about and the rather grim weather doesn't seem to have dampened their spirits. Lovely shot
