The Reference Quilt for my main October 26 Photo

And here is a straight-forward photo of my friend's quilt that I altered so much in levels processing. (I had to have something that would imprint it as "my artistic attempt" rather than just stealing her art!)

Funny how we haven't quilted together in 10 years, yet each of the three of us has maintained our own palettes over the years. The friend who made this one has incredible patience and works with small pieces and loves soft pastels as her base palette. And now, @pplutz is on 365!

I see you are catching up. Wonderful example of patterning in quilting, both in color and in design. And the square processing conveys the quilt square as it should.

@taffy -- I have one more day to catch up on from last week -- those days of quilting around the clock meant virtually no photography, so I'm having to figure out something postable that I can claim as mine !
