My get-pushed-70 partner, @julieco challenged me to capture "a clash of two cultures." The French book is actually a translation of a picture book originally published in the USA in English. The doll comes from a flea market in Italy where someone had carefully pinned the country from where each doll had been originally acquired by the collector. The hand-made book on the right was made in Thailand but is a response to a book originally published in Japanese.
