Holy Name Cathedral in Fog by jyokota

Holy Name Cathedral in Fog

Built in 1843, destroyed in the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, rebuilt in 1875. On Sunday, the fog that enveloped the city hid many of the skyscrapers behind the church.

PS I just saw Taffy's post and she photographed the only remaining buildings from the fire a few blocks from where this was taken, and also with skyscrapers in the background, but with a sunny sky. http://365project.org/taffy/365/2014-04-14
Great minds! I'm envious of your moon shot, though!

Wonderful perspective to capture the fog cloaking the skyscrapers, which perhaps takes us back to an earlier time when the skyline was not so imposing around this church.
