Chikurin-ji is number 31 of the 88 temples on the pilgrimage circuit on Shikoku Island. Henro, the pilgrims, don white jackets, straw hats, and use walking sticks to make the journey. It takes approximately six weeks to walk the entire route, and at each temple, your temple book is signed and stamped. This folding screen shows the different stamps of each temple on the route.
