Walked down to the creek I used to swim in today, funny how as a kid the thought of finding yabbies and other creatures was intriguing. But as an adult I thought about the leeches and other unpleasant possibilities first and foremost. Definitely should try and maintain more childlike wonder . . .
Beautiful low speed capture and such a lovely scene. I agree with your thoughts. When I was a boy I used to search for the riskiest jumps to dive headfirst into the sea. Today, I have to go down the ladder until I am waist deep in the water before letting go.
Lovely scene. We are fearless as children aren't we. I almost come out in a cold sweat when I think of the things I did as a youngster that I wouldn't even think of doing now.
Beautiful low pov. I don't really like going back to my childhood place. Let them remain mysterious and fabulous. In a collision with reality, they lose a lot.
