Sandy Beach on the Colorado River

Day 2 of my Grand Canyon Backpacking trip (from February 26th). Although the temperature was in the high 50's F it felt very warm in the sun. This is where I went for a swim in the cool waters of the Colorado. The sunshine felt fantastic when I got out of that chilly water on February 26th.
