Day 3 of my Grand Canyon Backpacking trip (February 27th). Looking back down the Colorado River you can see both bridges... the silver bridge is in the foreground and the black bridge is in the background.

@dutchothotmailcom Thanks Esther⌠yes⌠we walked across the black bridge when we arrived on the first day of the trip and then went over the silver bridge on the third day when we left Phantom Ranch & Bright Angel Campground. The black bridge has wooden beams on the floor and is the one the miles travel across⌠they wonât go across the silver bridge with irs open floor.
