We've been trying to get a beautyberry growing in our backyard for a few years now. This is the second or third try and this one, though still small, seems to be growing slowly. This is the first one to produce berries. The berries are edible and many animals feed on tthem (usually grows 4-6 feet tall). This is a native plant to Georgia.
