Had to go to my local town today to get some more wild bird food. As I travelled through the high street I noticed this big bird hanging around the new flower displays so decided to call back and have a look at what it was doing.
Before that I bumped into a nice young man outside the pet shop, I had to stop and chat to him as he was wearing a similar hat to mine, and also had a camera round his neck, nice to meet you Jason, hope you found some good captures today.
I stopped off near the town green on my way home, and walked back to this big bird that seemed to be eyeing up the pretty flower arrangements. Now the only other big bird that I can remember was the bright yellow one on the Muppets, I don't think that one ate flowers but was a bit of a nuisance.
Anyway Big Bird seems to have brightened up my day and hope it brings me luck with my team, Forest Green Rovers who are playing away to Rochdale tonight, you will all be fed up of me mentioning them soon. Looks better with the black surround.
Big Bird seems very up with all the topical stuff of the day.
