We got 3 inches of snow yesterday and it stuck to the trees. After the sunset I wondered what kind of picture I could get with the icy street and snow covered trees. Can you believe this was captured with my Iphone11 pro on a tripod using a little clicker so I wouldn't have to touch the phone. The only light was the street lamps and almost full moon . I was amazed.
@jgpittenger I just got a new travel tripod by peak design from a kickstarter and it comes with a piece for a phone but you can find a phone tripod attachment that it very inexpensive off amazon.com I got the little clicker with a selfie stick but you can also find the clickers on amazon. They work off bluetooth
@taffy this is the tripod I just got and so far I love it. https://www.peakdesign.com/products/travel-tripod
The remote I used came with a little selfie stick I bought off of amazon. I can give you the link if you're like but think any would work fine.
@lesip I thought it was a tripod for the iPhone. Maybe my question should have been how you attached the iPhone to a regular tripod. Or am I misunderstanding totally?
@taffy I used the tripod mentioned above. That tripod has a small adapter for a phone stored in the bottom of the center pole. You can purchase a cell phone tripod mount on amazon. Some even include a little remote around 20 dollars. Before I got this tripod I used the piece that held my phone on my selfie stick, which unscrewed from the selfie stick and would screw into my tripod mount piece if that makes any sense. I can make a little collage of the set up and pieces and stick it in my extra album if that would help ?
