Potarch Bridge

Such a novelty for me to see, a river, a bridge and trees that I had to take a photo.

The Potarch Bridge another fine example of a Thomas Telford bridge design completed in 1814. This one crosses the River Dee in Aberdeenshire just west of Banchory.

I know this bridge well. I used to live in Banchory, just nearby. I'll be passing by in a couple of weeks when I head home to Ballater for a week at the end of the month.
