You can't have beans without cornbread at my house. It's cloudy, cool and windy today, so some "comfort food" was in order, smile. The weekly theme is "mealtime".
Texans know how to make amazing cornbread! You'll understand when I say I can't find a nice fine cornmeal for cornbread in Canada...theirs is all quite course. So I carry some up there as we don't want to be without this taste treat!
@Weezilou I'm glad you haven't resorted to those dreaded cornbread mixes, Jiffy and the like! The only good cornbread is the real, made from scratch one. Smile.
