Hello Lou Ann, I like the reflection of the boat house on the still water, but there is a particular reason why your picture is talking to me : although my home is in France, I know exactly the spot where you made that shot. We lived in Plano for many years in the past, and we were often going to Lake Lewisville over the week-ends, so this photo reminds me many good memories. That is an unexpected encounter for me today, and I guess that is the magic of the 365 project.
@etienne Oh my, what a lovely comment, thank you. We don’t own a boat but I do walk the trails on the west side of the lake, and always have some sort of camera with me. 365 really is magic, that is a great term for this unique site.
Nice B&W. I thought there was something familiar about this shot and I realized this is the ground level view of what I see every time I fly into DFW (which is often, because I usually go American and if you're going anywhere in the country from SNA, you're going through DFW). Thanks for answering a question I've always had!
@stray_shooter Lake Lewisville is 25 miles north of DFW. I always crain my neck coming in to land, I’m always looking for familiar landmarks and this lake is large enough you just can’t miss it.
