Tough love

I won’t bore you with photos, but suffice it to say that the two pampered, babied amaryllises just had single very long leaves, no hint of a bloom. I was tired of cajoling them so I lopped off their ridiculous leaves and put them on my time out table on the patio. They will either flourish or die, at this point I don’t really care what they do. 😊

Super fun processing! I did the same with an amaryllis that I have in water. It's pretty p.o.'d as it hasn't made an attempt at doing anything since the trim.
