I thought this was a magnolia of a different coloration...like the pink ones! It really is a beautiful color.

@Weezilou the white flowers always turn this brown rust color when they die. These do not have a fragrance, I think the pink ones do. They really are elegant looking flowers and I thoroughly enjoy each stage of their blooming season.

Thank you! I now know a little more about magnolias! And on its way to you today is a small box with your epiphyllum leaves. I probably should have read up about how to transport them, but I added some moisture and think you ought to open them when they arrive and set them outside to dry a little before putting them into potting soil. If you have any questions, drop me an email...or even consult Google which will probably have better information than I can give. We got our plants long before we had the web!

@Weezilou Thank you! I can't wait! We just had the pool re-plastered and I hope to work on some of the landscaping. I'll do my best (with Google and you) with the epiphyllum leaf, I have just the pot for it!
